A radiating central medallion in bright pastel colors, mirrored by similar designs in the four corners, illuminates a vast field covered by a wide variety of delicate flowers, vines, and leaves in a dozen different colors over a dark background. The main border reflects the floral pattern in the field  broken by a procession of cartouches of lighter tone that act as a counterpart to the medallions in the field, while three bands on each side of the main border display small cloudband motifs matching similar elements in the cartouches and the medallions. The fitting silk pile adds brilliance and a ripple effect reflecting the light in the room. A magnificent silk carpet.
